I bought a little pink usb key about a year ago, and it was a limited edition.I go to use it and will not longer save any information although there is loads of free space so cannot understand why this happened.My other usb keys work, so I know its not my laptop,so must be the usb.I would of liked to get the photos I have on it,but that dos'nt seem to be happening.I will be keeping back-ups from now on, as I don't want to lose any more information.I have been warned to save things on a back up,but I did'nt have my own laptop at the time,otherwise I could of asked for a replacement usb.

USB storage devices do tend to break after a while, especially if you use them a lot, I went through 3 at uni.
